B-132: Shuttle Hio (moving away from Loyalists’ Rock)

She doesn’t have that skill; she’s an Aerospace Pilot who doesn’t typically have to so anything more sophisticated with the comms gear than press the talk button or the frequency presets.

Lia knows that at this point the shuttle is about 5AU from the comm buoy, or about 3/4 of a Billion km.  The radio signal will take about six Tasks to make the round trip. 

Unfortunately at the end of six Tasks there’s nothing but radio silence.

She can try as many times as she likes to hit the comm buoy, but each one will cost her time.  Alternately, she can give up and head into the Main World.
