B-105: Loyalists’ Rock

“I’m a native.  My parents came here to do some construction work.  Ma’s still here, Da’s on New Zargland.

“Part of me thinks it’d be great to go to space one day, see other places, but you know I like it here.  We got good community, good people, mostly, though some of the newcomers like to joke that once you’ve been here a MyriaCycle the natives might sop calling you ‘stranger’ and use your name.”

Passing beyond the vehicle bay the air grows warm again, and Lia’s scent-accustomed nose picks up traces of organics mixed with chemicals from ahead.

“Did you know Stranger is what the Separatists call you, only there it’s a formal way of addressing people and not an insult?  Weird huh?

“Anyway, Spanial, is that a big ship?”
