It’s different to what she compliments Lia about.

If Lia wishes she can enhance her trial scent further with the mineral.

    “He said he wasn’t sure you would appreciate another mouth to feed or the lifestyle that he leads. I said that might depend on how willing he was to negotiate and left him chewing on that. He looked thoughtful.”

    She shrugs.

    “He’ll probably stew on it for a bit but if he doesn’t make a move I can always check in again. Unless you want to make him an offer? He’s certainly not enjoying the current status imbalance.”

    That’s an interesting distinction with Raina. Would Lia guess she is not aware of what she’s attracted to in that sense? Like the perfume she wears not really suiting her?
