Yes, while she’s outside near the shuttle it’s safer to keep her suit on as there is radiation coming off the shuttle engines and a low level that has seeped into the materials of the landing area from engine wash over time. 

Her rad counter is showing a low level of radiation outside that is not immediately dangerous, but best avoided.
