Beat.
“Able to make those decisions.”
There is a very tiny narrowing of her eyes before she gives him a slow smile.
“You have no idea…”
Another beat.
It’s worth noting that Lia in a towel is unlike most women in this situation. Her stance and posture are unchanged regardless of what she is, or is not, wearing. There is absolutely no sense that she feels awkward or has a desire to hide how much of her is on display.
She gives a little faux frown.
“Might be best to present a certain…front though, for a meeting…if you wouldn’t mind waiting here…?”
