A-290: Spanial, Common Room
Gregar says, “it seems to be like an electrolaser that uses a mechanical conductor instead of a laser as the ionising pathway, so it works in vacuum. You see-“
Karmen gently cuts him off, “For sure, don’t take away the mystery.”
She continues, “So, the advance team heads in to the planet, cuts a deal and everyone’s happy. In the event everyone isn’t happy I’ll contact the ship with advice if I can. If you don’t hear anything either way, there are not many good options. I’d say risk customs and hope they’re not feeling curious. It’s probably safer than trying to run and dump the cargo. If it come to that, Jennie, it’ll be your call, but I’d say risk customs unless there’s a good reason not to. You can probably rely on our old friend if things get really desperate but that’s always risky if you come with trouble on your tail.”
Jennie frowns, with perhaps more confidence that she might truly be feeling she says, “if you get us our pay, I’ll look after the ship.”
Would Lia like to add anything?
No, I think she’s good.
