“We need o do that in a way that’s convincing enough that we can still get paid, so we might need something to trade.
“We were supposed to get some details on how best to return here and make contact from Kort’s connection on the Cyprinidae, but that didn’t happen and we have a hold full of contraband plus whatever’s in that container that Kort is reluctant to tell us about.
“Anyone got any brainwaves? Kort, anything to add?”

Lia will look around the table to see if anyone else is going to respond before she speaks.
“The way I see it, we have achieved at least part of the original team’s mission. The information we found on the wreckage confirms they were sent to interact in some way with the Yarg and to acquire samples of some kind. There are definitely some unusual items that we salvaged that I’m fairly certain whoever sent this mission is going to want to study. Whether that’s a trade or simply returning things they believe are theirs is up for negotiation.”
