It occurs to Lia and Prrri that properties of metals can be altered through extremes of temperature and also electrical fields; especially in combination.  Lia’s tests can’t rule out that that could have happened in this case.

When Lia starts her stretches it’s like the pressure has come off and they stop pretty much simultaneously.

Observation:  Kort is more efficient and economical with his energy and efforts, but Kwint has more to burn.

Later on the trip Kort will observe her knife practice with interest.

    Lia will discuss with Prrri just how large an electrical field would need to be (in conjunction with extreme temperatures) to alter the density of an entire ship’s hull. Happy to include Gregar in this discussion if he’s interested.

    Lia is not awesome with knives. She is comfortable handling her own and has fairly basic skill. 9 followed by 9 vs 11 for Knife Skill.
