Hull Flake
Prrri thinks the brittleness of the hull, and various other metals is related to cold, but says it can’t just be that. An armoured spaceship hull is a pretty dense and strong thing.

They appreciate her assistance, she’s pretty happy with the result.
Other Bits
- The clock is in good order, better after a clean.
- No-one’s going to fight her for the clothes, or the makeup (Jennie takes one lipstick)
- She can play with the glasses, but they’re not really worth fixing
- The drugs will stay where they are then.
PDA
Gregar reports that the PDA reveals:
- That Cyprinidae is ‘officially’ in repair-dock having an extensive overhaul.
- The engineer’s notes reveal the ship had been in the restricted system for 51 Cycles prior to its destruction, they spent some of the time doing a survey of the system before orbiting Foofor 2.
- The notes refer to ‘several contacts with the alien ships, but we haven’t seen the big one.’
- The Cyprinidae was destroyed 15 Cycles prior to Spanial’s arrival.
- In his opinion, the Chief Engineer, Ann Summer-Wells, was quite competent at her job, though the two mechanics seemed a little sloppy.
Safe
When Prrri slices into the safe with the engineering tools, something goes ‘bang’.
No-one is injured, but there was a box of what were probably documents, money cards and storage widgets in there that is unrecoverable.
On the plus side, there’s ʄ500,000 in cash that’s undamaged, a machine pistol and ammo, and a fishing trophy.
Hobbies
OK, the jewelery is coming along and will probably be ready by the time the RDV with Kwint is due.
Unless she wants to start melting them down and making stuff, the ingots will be a mystery until she can bring extra tools or research to bear on the problem

Lia would like to run some tests on the piece of Hull. Chemistry? What skill would you suggest?
She’s very happy with the clothes and makeup. She will need to get some of them altered to fit. She’ll give up on the glasses but will ask Karmen if she wants to know what drugs are present for… resale.
Lia is quite interested in the information Gregar supplies. She’ll take notes in her various widgets and journal and will happily spend an evening chatting with Gregar about it and anything else that takes their fancy. There might even be alcohol involved.
