A-221: Spanial, Mostly Lia’s Cabin/Lab

Social Chat About Lethal Weapons
His eyes crinkle slightly at the edges, but he seems mostly curious about her reaction.

What’s in the case?
It would require something more heavy-duty than the refrigerator in the Galley, but yes, technically quite possible.

Thingummy Hoop
They note it’s a strange design, and they might have expected such a thing to be deeper, but it certainly looks like something is meant to fit in there. Prrri wonders if maybe something sits in there and another thing closes over the small lip above it to hold it. Gregar thinks that might cause problems at the end of the extra hoop and they devolve into a discussion of how that might or might not work… Despite all that, the general consensus to her original question seems to be ‘yes, that’s possible.’
She looks at Kort for a moment, then scrubs her face with her hands.
“All this research is raising a lot of questions. Feels like there are more questions than answers.”
Lia has that focused look that means her brain is working overtime.
“So…if this container holds samples of the Yarg right now, why have them delivered to a ship en route to interact with the Yarg? The information said that the original samples were non-viable, hence these ones being sent out. The two scientists mentioned in the information had specialties in biology of different types, so it’s logical that they were furthering that research. Does that make this a research mission? And how does that tally with the missiles and high powered guns on board. Were they just precautions?”
Lia will made a sideways leap regarding the hoop and take a sample of the scales and mesh. She wants to conduct an experiment to test whether this substance can contain a gaseous form without it leaking out.
