Social Chat About Lethal Weapons

“Generally, or just about the burned-out gun?

“Generally, I think someone bit off more than they could chew playing with aliens.  As far as the weapon goes, all the damage on the outside as well as the inside says to me this wasn’t an internal component failure.”

What’s in the case?

Pure ammonia is liquid between -78°C and -33°C at 1 standard atmosphere; it can remain liquid above -33°C at higher pressures, requiring 60 atmospheres to be liquid at room temperature.

Thingummy Hoop

That might imply a big head (or maybe just large ears, as Prrri points out).   However, assuming the clear film is the part that goes over the head that would mean that the shallow ridge would be some ty Neither the hoop body nor the film seem readily permeable to gasses. So other than it being unclear how the thing might attach to another component, there’s nothing particularly to contradict that possibility.pe of attachment to the rest of the suit.  However that works, it’s not a screw thread or a turn-and-lock mechanism.  Despite the ridge in the material, the ‘buckle’ design does seem to ensure a good gas seal.

She looks at Kort and actually smiles.

So, knowing the temperature Prrri has mentioned and that it would be colder inside, does he think it’s possible that the container could reach those temperatures with a constant power source?

Following the theory that this might be some sort of suit component or alien equivalent, Lia will examine the ridges on the rim and ask her brains trust if they think this could be some sort of sliding attachment, i.e. the depression between the ridges could be the female half of a locking component for a ‘suit’ of some kind.
