9-026: Maldemar 732
Well, it seems he’ll have more time than expected to be enthralled.
As discussed he focusses quite a bit of his time into following up his intuition.
Given how enthralled he obviously is, I’ve made those two skill dice rolls for him.
In GB on 211.395 he completes his investigation into Argyle’s abandoned work.
It’s probably fair to say that Oliver couldn’t have done this on his own, but building on Argyle’s work he can see what he was trying to accomplish. It seems Argyle could never insert his hidden messages in the other messages without running afoul of some of the Dominion’s cleverer internal message check algorithms. However, perhaps because he’s a software guy with crypto skills whereas Argyle is more of a hardware guy with crypto skills at heart, Oliver has found a way to solve that problem using some clever thinking at a software abstraction level. At this point he really only has a theoretical approach that seems to work when he sends messages to himself inside a test environment on his laptop but he does seem to have potentially solved this thing Argyle was trying to do and gave up on.
Question, does he generally eat in the Common Room or in his Cabin?

I’d say he probably eats meals in the common room for the majority of the time. Maybe 20-30% of his meals are taken in his room when he’s super into it… or he just has late meals when he finishes a ‘bit’ of work.
