8-590: Spanial, Control
Ipan looks to Jennie, gets a non-committal response, and speaks into his console, “Unknown craft, this is Dominion Merchant Freighter Spanial, do you receive? Over.”
To the control crew in general, and Lia in particular he says, “I dunno, anything you want to say?”
Lia has no idea if they can receive messages or how they even communicate but she grabs the chance to communicate with them anyway.
“Unknown vessel…we mean you no harm. If you can hear us and understand, please respond…We have no desire to disrupt your ships or your lifeforms, we simply wish to communicate… and take safe passage through your airspace…”
She sounds hopeful.
