8-419: Shipwreck Habitat Section, Deck 3
The Gecko boots are barely sticking, on the down side, this means the ladder in almost-microgravity is useless except as a guide Lia can pull herself along with using her hands on the uprights or rungs. On the plus side, being in microgravity makes use of the ladder optional.
Lia leads Karmen into Deck 3.
This deck was apparently used as a Galley and Mess area. Opposite the ladder and hatches is a workspace for food preparation and storage, not dissimilar to Spanial’s, though this area is a bit roomier. Tables and chairs, both upright and comfortable were set in the centre area.
This deck is a mess. Most of the material tends to congregate near the former ceiling, but the vagaries of spin are still disturbing everything and periodically things bump into each other and spin off. Some of the chairs and a table have come loose from the floor and are floating freely. One of the chairs has been broken and its parts are flying about. The vacc-suited body bumps gently around the compartment along with jagged fragments of hatch material, and flakes of a lustrous, metallic-looking material that seems to be scattered everywhere.
Lia is going to leave the body to Karmen and try to grab some of the shiny looking material.
