Karmen heads down the ladder through the next, damaged, hatchway.

She warns Lia that this ladder is slippery too.

Following?  Staying?  Also, Lia can beat Karmen to the ladder if she wishes.

    She will probably beat her, since I assume she’s talking whilst moving.

    How slippery? She will be watching her footing since Karmen’s earlier warning.
