If Lia had to guess, it looks like something grabbed onto the hull of the wreck itself, and left marks doing so.
It’s worth noting, standing this far from the centre of spin, Lia can feel a definite ‘push in the back’ from the spin forces, and the slow long-axial spin combined with that is rather unsettling and disorienting.
Prrri is kneeling by the gash in the metal probing it with some sort of tool.
