Karmen listens to Lia a moment then says, “for sure, it could be useful having a different perspective on aliens. Prrri, suit up.”
He looks at Karmen, ears flicking, and moves to the suit rack by the inner airlock.
She says to Gregar, “keep monitoring, be ready to pitch in.”
He nods.
She moves to put on her own suit.
Lia looks at Karmen.
“Wait. Does that mean I’m staying here? Are you flying the Hopper?”
She looks a little stricken.
