Ipan says, “well, it’s sure lighting up the sensors. Makes it hard to spot anything with that as the background.”
Kort says, “but it shouldn’t be necessary, they should have responded to the coded hailing signal.”
“So there’s a team down there?”
Lia frowns.
“Then either the signal isn’t getting through or something has happened to prevent them from responding.”
She looks at Kort.
“Do you know who’s down there?”
