Kwint responds, “Lizard’s Balls, don’t you do anything I wouldn’t do.”
Gregar says, “Take care Kwint.”
To which he responds, “You too, big guy.”
Gregar and Lia leave the shuttle and the Hangar – Prrri has already disappeared.
Someone in Control pipes the comms with Hio through the ship; Jennie and Karmen wish Kwint luck.
Kwint, “Good luck everybody, see you in a few DekaCycles, Hio commencing undock.”
A small vibration runs through Spanial as Kwint undocks Hio and the Hangar doors close.
Shifts
As long as she does the work in Green, people will probably be happy.
People do seem to appreciate Lia’s charitable, pitch-in nature, particularly Karmen.
Gym
She will variously find Kort (usually late Red Shift), Jennie (usually late Green or early Blue) or Prrri (there may be a pattern, but it’s not based around human shifts) in the gym.
Crafting
Give me a couple of rolls to see how she goes with Jewelry and Scents (noting some preliminary rolls have happened already that I have to go back and find).
- Normal space travel to the Jump Point (about 5 Cycles) – Lia has to sit watches
- Hyperspace travel to the restricted system (about 6 Cycles) – Lia does not have to sit watches
At some point after the ship gets into Hyperspace, Gregar will announce there is some prep work to be done on on the Hopper, and he’d like a pilot to be available, which means Lia or Jennie (or apparently, Karmen).
When would Lia like to go snooping in the Cargo Hold?
13 and 7 for Jewelry and scents when you need them.
Lia will happily volunteer to work on the Hopper, especially without shifts she’ll have time to study the manual.
She will wait till she has no shifts and pick an opportune time when Kort is asleep.
