He nods and sets up the weights for her, asking a couple of questions about which ones as he does so. The set up is actually fairly utilitarian; possibly because any weights Lia can lift are fairly trivial for Kort.
He’ll watch her for a moment as she starts her routine (stretches and warm-up first, I assume) and says, “Let me know if you want me to spot you,” and goes back to his bag.
Lia can tell his attention is divided.
Stretches are fairly routine for her, so she can watch him for a bit while she warms up. I’m guessing he’s decent with his fists.
“Do you do a lot of boxing? It’s something I’d like to try but I’ve never learned.”
