I’m toying with the idea of one ⭐ to make a success of a failure, ⭐⭐ for a critical.
I hadn’t planned to give additional info at this point unless you asked some specific questions. So, for two stars you can get a hint of something I was going to develop more later.
ie, it’s ‘something nice’ but constrained within the context of the task roll. The sort of additional information I might give out on a critical success. Noting that Oliver already did well on figuring out clues from the report.
At the edge of the pad an armed and armoured Legionnaire is standing. Next to her (it looks like a her by body shape) is a blue-uniformed bureaucrat in an ankle-length transparent rain poncho.
The Legionnaire orders them to halt, inconveniently short of any shelter.
The Bureaucrat says, “Unscheduled vehicle arrival. Who are you and what’s your business?”
“My name is Oliver Starr, on behalf of Vizier Dicard, this is my co-worker, Victor Fromm. We were invited by Theo Hulm-Nelson.” He ponders for a second. “I mayyy have forgotten to respond confirming our attendance.” He presents ID Badge.
