7-261: MaPaCoA, Vizier Kahn-Serf’s Office

The Householder says, “as someone involved in Household security, it’s not unusual that we would send someone to liaise with the Legion over the death of such a person, particularly if that death was suspicious.”

The Legionnaire says, and it’s difficult to pick the tone, “Yes, we do know how the Household likes to throw its weight around.”

The Householder blinks slowly, and says carefully, “So, are there any records of the investigation?”.

The Legionnaire terminals for a bit.

“According to this, accidental, no suspicious circumstances.  A note of Household involvement and further queries to be directed to Household Security, with a reference number.  I’m sending the file.”

Courteously, the Vizier beckons Oliver for the widget and returns it with the Legion investigation file.

Oliver goes along with the widget exchange.
“It’s more than possible he had help. I would imagine it’s hard to stage a death alone. Maybe his employer got him a new life in exchange for his services?”
