Lia’s skill at discerning others’ body language allows her to note Raina’s interest in her talk of ‘experiences’; she tenses and leans forward imperceptibly, though she waits for Lia to finish speaking; Raina’s eyes flick to Lia’s hand, fidgeting with the jewellery box.
