7-022: Illuminator – Witnish system

Oops…Missed Question

Sometimes it gets busy around the BY break, especially if there’s an influx of crew at that point (sometimes there is and sometimes there sin’t.)

Erin

“Well, I am enjoying the work!”

Chris

Chris puts a friendly arm on his back (perhaps so he can’t escape?) and heads to one of the bars on the Mess Deck.

Chis will want to have several drinks and a meal.  He says he has no training schedule tomorrow so is taking the chance to have some fun.

He tells Oliver he’s really enjoying his training with the Wardens, that they are a tough bunch and the instructor knows more ways of killing people than seems reasonable for one person, although he’s shown them a thing or two about the finer points of dirty hand-to-hand fighting.  He wants to know what Oliver has been up to?  How things are going?  What he thinks about their job?  The ship?  Their mission on Zargonia?  And whether Oliver thinks smaller Sportsball facilities like the one on the ship make a difference when sportsing in defense versus offense?

Argyle’s Notebooks

No, I don’t need rolls.

The books start while Argyle is in HighEd and there’s no delineation of topics (Argyle has designated these files ‘DN’) and the last one is DN664, which ends on 205.100.  It seems he dates a book when he reaches the end. The DG1, DC1 and DE1 books all start the same cycle.

So I’ll take that as chronologically from DN1 (starting 199.743)?

  1. Oliver Starr says:

Oliver may hunt for a time where he has to sit next to haircut vizier lady.

Erin: “That’s good. I’m sure there are many dominion manuals about that being the key to productivity.”

Chris: Oliver will start with one drink and a meal probably followed by a water, with the excuse of “my schedule is a full shift of work every cycle until I’m done.”

We might do loner rolls to see if he succumbs to beer pressure.
Oliver feigns interest in the violence with the typical one to five word replies to encourage Chris to keep talking about himself.

“I’ve been studying the files we acquired on Pristine and organising them so they’re easier to digest. Once I have finished all there is of it I’ll write my analysis of them and submit it to the superiors to do with as they please.”
Oliver will pause between questions as I assume they don’t all come at once.
“Uncertain about the mission. We haven’t got the most detail about what we’re doing other than we’re meant to check in on someone at Zargonia, move to another ship and leave.”

“I’m afraid I haven’t sportsed since mandatory sportsing in physical Education classes. On top of that I wasn’t very good. I wouldn’t be able to weigh in on the courts sorry.”

He takes a moment to think.
“Though typically a smaller area means less for your eyes and your body to cover while also leaving less variable paths to take. These things favour someone trying to defemd it. However the smallness allows for a body to be more effective with sprinting, kicking, throwing and jumping meaning that attackers with more athletic skill gain an advantage by being able to burst they energy into quick plays. With less room a mental game takes a back seat and a physical one comes to the front.”

    Books:
Yes. With his memory he probably won’t have much trouble with switching topics so he may just read them all chronologically to see how Argyle’s mind was developing.
