Sylivia responds, “Some of the people who administer this planet were at the party, security is not something we take lightly. As for the Under Commander, we need someone socially adept enough to know that if Namasia here gets drunk and starts wearing his underpants on his head, then the situation will need to be dealt with using some diplomacy. Not something that your base level Public Safety Trooper can be relied upon to do.”
There are a couple of amused eyebrows around the room at the idea of Namasia drunk and in such a position; it seems more likely that the coffee table would spontaneously morph into a goat.
Namasia recover from his own grin at Sylvia’s comment and says, “The Legion are, after all, here to serve us and protect us, and so they are given the opportunity to do that. Bureaucratic security at a function like tonight’s is, I understand, considered a prestigious posting.”
Winta will have an opportunity to respond to these comments, otherwise Martin says, “And what about the Vizierate?”
Lia will listen actively as Sylvia speaks. When she mentions Namaisia with underpants on his head, her eyes will shoot to him and she will give a throaty chuckle, eyes sparkling.
She will interject before he responds.
“Oh I don’t know. I’m sure Jayline would love to assist, so long as she was allowed to keep her fascinator snapping.”
She will file away the information about prestigious posting.
Her gaze will turn to Martin in response to his question.
“Minor Vizier Farbello was quite a surprise. I understand he is part of the Planetary Council, yet people seem to disregard him. I suspect, to their detriment…”
