Aston gives a sweet smile at Winta’s words, he seems almost embarrassed. He rests his forehead on hers and then when she has finished speaking he kisses her brow.
“You are very sweet and kind.”
He seems moved by what she said, however Lia’s assessment is that Aston can be somewhat shallow, and so processing deep emotion may be a challenge for him.
He takes a slow breath, “this has been quite an intense evening. I think you were right earlier. I think it is time for some fun.”
He grabs another drink, from a nearby tray, asking with sign language whether she wants one.
Winta will have opportunities to respond or make suggestions as to what next. Otherwise, Aston will wander and meet up with some people he knows (who are apparently ‘safe’ politically) and he will introduce Winta and they can drink and chat and tell jokes and stories for a while.
Lia will take another water. She will discreetly check to see if Zayaire is keeping an eye on her and she will also attempt to visually find Adler. This will all be whilst Aston chooses fun things to do. She will let him set the pace for that.
