6-274: Administration Bureau Executive Conference Facility

A flick of a smile lights Farbello’s pale blue eyes, “There are four reasons, and one rejection of a presumptive fallacy:  One, you have actually engaged in this conversation with the unpleasant Minor Vizier no-one else will talk to; Two, you seem receptive to such an exercise and socially adept enough to play at a level that is useful; Three, because of your utility, so stated, I believe I can leverage this into a useful discussion; Four, if I am going to be here, I would like to take some personal satisfaction in some stimulating conversation.  However, I think you underestimate your date.

He pauses a moment, then says, “Foolishly, we have not fully defined the rules before we commenced.  We are three corners of a triangle.  We could each ask the other two a question, or we could each ask and answer one question, for fairness.  Which is it to be, Emerald?”

She smiles and turns to Aston. Her expression is amused and playful but something in it becomes apologetic when she looks at him. She continues looking at him as she responds to the Vizier.

Does she see anything interesting in Aston’s face or body language at this possible new twist in the game? 12 vs 13 Body Language.

“My preference would be one question asked and one answered. That was the implied contract.”

She turns her twinkling blue green eyes back on Farbello.

    “Who’s next?”
