6-184: Administration Bureau Executive Conference Facility
Aston says, barely perceptibly, “Leverage; smiles on.”
He accepts a sparkling and was possibly about to take a canape but changed his mind at the prospect of the upcoming encounter.
He turns to the woman, a well-practised professional smile lighting up his face, different to the boyish grin he displays when playing privately with Lia.
“Jayline, darling, be sure you get my good side!” He poses for her, his body language actually rather feminine that he manages to make look engagingly boyish.
On closer inspection, Lia can see she is wearing a tech headset with a small camera casually camouflaged as a fascinator. It’s not really hidden, more adapted to compliment rather than contrast with her outfit.
He introduces Jayline to Winta, but doesn’t reverse it, “Lovely, this is Jayline Fok-Bollyn, she serves us and the wider public as a social correspondent with DNN by taking gorgeous photographs of gorgeous people.”
Lia will recognise the name from her earlier research – this would appear to be the source of the photos she viewed earlier.
He continues immediately, forestalling other conversation, “So Jayline, can we expect any other who’s of the who to grace this delight tonight?”
At this point, we interrupt Aston to give Lia/Michaela a chance to respond, react or seek information.
Lia will whip out a charming smile.
She will keep her attention focused mostly on Aston, as though being with him is the highlight of the evening.
When he asks his question she will chime in with
“Ooh yes, do tell! I’m dying to know who else will be attending…”
She leans in a smidge, the picture of the avid gossip.
