I suspect watching Lia and Prrri exercise is an unexpected segue into uncanny valley. Lia’s insane flexibility and Prrri’s alien anatomy (he does tend to do that thing cats do with their legs that leaves you scratching your head thinking that cannot possibly be comfortable, or even not painful) mean this is probably difficult to look at.
He listens without speaking to Lia’s explanation of the situation, transitioning from stretches to a series of crazy chin-up-like movements that also involve feet and some tail assistance.
At the end of Lia’s speech he says, “Karrrrmen hasss mate her vishesss clearr, annnt sheee isss the captainnn. Put yes, whxateverrr yxou xan finnnd out at thisss parrrty issss <sounds like Prrri is about to hock a giant loogi off a high cliff-top>“
Watching the two together would indeed be… interesting. 😋
Lia will frown slightly over that last sound; obviously something has been lost in translation.
“I’ll do my best to get some useful information. Have to think on my feet a bit, which should be interesting. What are you doing with your time off ship? Anything fun?”
She’ll set up a cycle if there is one.
