Madison is based on Zargonia, but DNN’s Bulletin Round-up is regularly watched across the Dominion.  Bluevening with Madison is more of a local-to-Zargonia product and airs live on 3-,5-,7- and 9- Cycles.

DNN’s Bulletin-Round-up

Given your comment and Oliver’s memory, I’m going to say he has seen and remembers the item in question when Marissa draws his attention to it.

“Prosperity Mers, I’m Madison Finchley and this is DNN’s Bulletin Round-up, coming to you across the Dominion from Settlement, Zargonia.”

The familiar and highly attractive face of Madison Finchley beaming out of the vid screen, an electronic marquee scrolling below her with the original broadcast date, which was some time ago.

The article in question is near the end of the broadcast, just before the sports news:  

“Despite rising Naki tensions in Octants 1 and 2, the Legion’s 3rd Fleet in Octant 3 and 7th Fleet in Octant 7 have been reinforced with a Special Task Group from the 39th Instrumentality Fleet in order to deter smuggling and piracy activity in those Octants.”

Cut to a high-ranking Legion Commissar in full dress uniform, an equivalently-ranked Operations legionnaire standing at her side. 

“Elements of the 39th will be deployed to assist and oversight operations of the 3rd and 7th fleets in their respective operations areas, providing force integration and enhanced capability to prevent any threat and ensure the Prosperity, Protection and Victory of the Dominion.  Commodore Mulvaney will have carriage of the operation.”

The Commissar gestures to the Operations Commodore, and it looks as if he is about to speak, but the clip cuts there.

Back to Madison.

“Mers are assured that any emerging situation is well in hand, with the highly-capable forces of the 39th on operations.”

“To sportsball news now and word is just in that the Four-Main Greens continue their run of success in the major conference...”

Oliver’s mum does that thing where she’s Definitely Not Smiling.

“That’s my thought.  I like to think good work is its own reward to some extent, but it never hurts to have someone notice it so one can have the chance to do more good work.” 

Question:  Oliver knows something about Marissa’s comment regarding the effect of Legion political maneuvering on the appointment of the Governor of Mundo Zargo – is that something he’s likely or willing to share?
