6-071: Merchant Freighter Spanial – Cargo Hold

Lia suits up and she and the Senior Customs Officer process through the airlock to the Cargo Hold.  It’s reasonably full – 750t of 900t used.  The load comprises two standard containers and 20 cylindrical liquid storage containers held in a standard-container-sized frame.  The Customs Officer does a count of the containers, spot checks some of the codes on the containers against those on the manifest, and then directs Lia to move one of the tank containers at random so he can check the container behind it.

Lia can use her Freight Handling skill to use the Spanial’s internal crane to shift the container – no roll required.  As discussed, Karmen has asked for Lia’s help in the past with cargo and I assume she now knows how to use all the equipment here.

Assuming you’re happy for Lia to do that, the Legionnaire checks the container at the back and Lia has a sense that he’s satisfied there are no discrepancies because he wants to end his shift.

He and Lia can return through the Cargo Hold inner airlock to the Port Airlock where everyone is still assembled.  

Does Lia wish to say or do anything with the Legionnaire?

On meeting back up, the two Customs Officers depart without further ado.

Jennie asks Gregar if Engineering is secured for docking mode and he confirms that it is.  She says he and Prrri are free to go on Liberty, usual arrangements apply (whatever they are).

She then turns to Lia, “Lia, a moment if I may?”
