Jennie doesn’t really laugh much, but she has a kind of amused grunt she makes sometimes.
She follows her amused sound with, “You are probably the most sociable person on the ship.
“By fine details, do you mean your jewellery?”
Lia’s smile is a little cheeky. “I’ll try not to infringe on people too much. Yes, jewelery. Perfume too though that’s more of an olfactory thing. I’ve been carving a particularly small stone and it’s making me a little crazy.”
She pauses in her lifting and leans closer to Jennie.
“Do I look cross-eyed to you?”
Give me an appropriate social skill roll.
OK, you asked ‘Social skill roll, in what vein?’ You also noted that Lia is just being silly. I concur, she is, but it’s a way of improving her relationship with Jennie and influencing the crew. I’d suggest one of Diplomacy, Acting, Fast Talk or even Carousing. Which skill you choose can slightly alter the outcome as it implies an approach. Acting is probably most appropriate, but any of those could fit.
I’ll go with Acting as suggested, since she is being silly. But she’s not trying to con or convince her in any way.
