Ashik goes back to her drink and the broader conversation.

 

Lia has a sense she’s actually quite good at detecting falsehood.

   

Does Lia want to do anything else in her time with Ashik?

    Does she seem happy with that possibility or annoyed? Or something else…

    Not particularly. I mean she will happily visit some other local sites or whatever else Ashik wants to show her but she feels okay about how this went overall.

    She will warm up the more time they spend together; there will be some light touches on Ashik’s arm or leg and more frequent laughter, some touching of her own hair and face. As they part, Lia will lean in and embrace her, leaving a soft kiss on her cheek.

    Ashik will now be left with the lingering scent of spiced cinnamon and vanilla.
