Ashik seems to enjoy herself and Lia’s company, she perhaps has a little too much to drink, and later at different venue (a little more swanky) studies Lia shrewdly, if slightly fuzzily.
“If I were to proposition you, you’d turn me down wouldn’t you?”
Lia gives her a slow smile and takes her time before responding, as if considering.
“This cycle? Yes.”
She just lets that sit there.
