Invention

I have already made some rolls for Oliver’s current project, but I’ll note those.  The rules come from the Basic Set.

You may remember while in N-space at Witnish he spoke with Erin about the glasses and had to disassemble and reassemble them?  In game terms he failed his first prototype roll and had to start over.

He’s done a lot of work on his version 2 prototype (which is good because he only needs to build the prototype, as he’s not going to the production stage), however you advised he is focusing on his study so I haven’t advanced his glasses building work.  He estimates there is not a lot left to do to complete this stage.

On a Stick

Erin reaches out and puts her hand on his arm a moment, then looks down at her hand and pulls it back.

Then she mirrors his nose-chuckle thing and says, “Yeah.  You looked like you’d been cooked on a grill and someone forgot to turn you over an do the other side.”

  1. Oliver Starr says:

Being a loner, he doesn’t respond to her contact. His gaze probably locks onto her hand as it touches him, then up to her as she pulls away, after a couple beats he will go back to normal eye activity.
“Unfortunately, I got too excited by seeing a functioning computer and got it fried in my haste. Your concern is appreciated.” He smiles gently.
