The customs officer in question is Operations Under Sub Officer Ashik Muhafiz (contemporary equivalent rank = Sargeant). She is aged about nine, attractive with straight, short dark hair, brown eyes, dusky skin and a slim, muscular figure.
Ashik will expand on the usual businesslike requests for documentation, asking if the ship is in port long, whether Lia will be taking any dock liberty, if she’s been to Roseman before? These may, of course, be a customs officer fishing, or perhaps not…
Time On Roseman
It’s not a hard no, but she’ll likely do better later. Noting, fyi, that if she follows her contact information rumour, she will have to leave the Downport and travel to Roseman’s major population centre – Twilight City.
Lia is amused by the more probing questions. She will say regretfully, this is merely a stopover so they will be moving on fairly quickly but yes, she will be taking some liberty and this is not her first time in Roseman.
I assume she would know how to get to Twilight City and how long it might take. Will she have time for that while they’re here or are they literally rushing straight off to Captree? If she has time, she’ll grab some more sleep before heading to the City.
