5-123: Legion Cast – Felicity’s Office

I imagine the assignment conversation can continue and they’ll eventually get to the uniform conversation:

Assignment

“I was going to ask if you be willing to continue before we get you promoted, so I appreciate your willingness to do that.  It might be a bit challenging, but I think I can get it done.  Just because it is inconvenient doesn’t men it is appropriate to commit you to an assignment as a recruit.  Rank is a signifier of an acceptance of responsibility; it means something.”

My conception of Oliver’s mother leads me to think that this exchange may lead Oliver to recall a strange duality in his mother:  She would complain about the Legion’s strict rules, while being fundamentally unwilling to be flexible about any of them.

Uniform

Felicity looks him in the eye, “You can change here.”

Beat.

“Or there’s a fresher further down the corridor.”

  1. Overlord Frank says:

Sorry. Edit. I misread your response initially.

  2. Oliver Starr says:

“I understand. Being responsible and having people trust in your responsibility is something that needs to be earned and demonstrated. I have no issues continuing on unofficially.”

He meets her eyes for a second. “Here’s fine I guess.” He stands off in a corner and starts to get changed. He doesn’t make an effort to cover up but he’s not showing off either. He’s also focussing on getting dressed and not paying attention to her.
