The cards’ values are shown; it doesn’t take Karmen long to add up the ʄ55,000 Money’s worth (unless Lia has held something back.)

Karmen nods.  

Gregar shifts uncomfortably in his seat, then with what appears some effort, speaks up (as much that can describe his whispering voice).

“Karmen, does the bringer bonus convention apply?”

Karmen looks at Gregar, looks at Lia, “It can, of course.  Was gettin’ to that.”

To Lia, by way of explanation, “If you bring in the goodies, your share entitlement gets bumped to the highest ship position for this payment, if you want to claim the bonus.  Do you?”
