Karmen eyes Oliver carefully, “alright, if you’re sure.”

Oliver can comment if he wishes before Karmen turns her attention back to the room.

“I’ll be right back.  Kwint, fill everyone’s drinks.”

Karmen will disappear briefly, going to her cabin and returning at a lockbox.  In her absence, Kwint will refill or supply drinks as instructed.

On returning, Karmen will open the box with a her thumbprint.

“Back pay first.”

She runs through the crew list, handing each crew member an unauthorised money card, a stick of coins and a pay slip that she pulls from the box.  On Oliver’s turn, he receives only a pay slip.  Unfolded, it reads as follows:
