Karmen says, “Can’t comment on that, but I thought our time in Octant 7 was pretty profitable.”
She gestures toward Oliver, “If we didn’t have to take our friend here on a trip, I wouldn’t have minded stayin’.”
Karmen will give Lia, Oliver or anyone else a chance to comment, otherwise she will move on.
Lia crosses her arms.
“I can’t say I’ll miss the place.”
She glances at the money boxes in the case and cracks a small smile.
“But you’re not wrong about the profit.”
