G-175: The Judgement of Solomon
The Mundo Zargo Governor’s Medallion
So, after a busy couple of Cycles everyone is aboard Spanial as it makes its way away from Mundo Zargo and out of the system.
Lia has sent her messages – no responses yet, but if she’s hanging around Control she may notice a small courier ship leaving the Highport not long after Spanial and heading lazily out of system on the same course as the freighter (and next time Oliver does a watch as scan officer, he certainly will!)
We’ll deal with Oliver’s day and his questions in the next module…
Having decided not to delve deeper into the mysteries of Mundo Zargo, they have left the resolution of any further sub-plots and unturned rocks to the various NPCs there…
As for who gets to wear the Governor’s Medallion once Markov-Wrikster has finished acting, well, they’ll have to watch the news to find out the final judgement of Solomon!
Wrap Up
This is the end of the module The Judgement of Solomon.
XP!
Lia and Oliver each receive:
- 1 XP for completing the module
- Zayaire’s plans:
- 1 XP for discovering the Envoy was up to something and so alerting Zayaire that he might be corrupt and therefore susceptible to bribes or blackmail
- 1 XP for talking to the Envoy and potentially making him amenable to Zayaire’s wishes
- 1 XP for gathering hard evidence for Zayaire and presenting it to him
- NB: Points were also available in this category for successfully thwarting Zayaire’s plans, with a bonus if you got him appointed Governor…
- The Envoy’s Plans:
- Discovering the Envoy was up to something is covered under Zayaire’s Plans
- 1 XP for discovering that what the Envoy was up to was probably related in some way to the upcoming visit of the Name Heir
GM’s Favourites
- I felt so sad for Oliver’s clever plan once he’d spotted the camera to accidentally knock on the security operative’s door
- I enjoy having a voice to imagine Lia speaking with now
- I was amused in the ‘dice tell a story’ way, when visually noticeable and stunning Lia was successful in following the Envoy without being seen
Not the GM’s Favourites
- I had a sense you guys were lost at some points during the module
- If that’s a correct assumption – any feedback? What would have helped or made things clearer?
- Would you prefer me not to run something like this in future?
By my count that’s 5XP in total 😊 Thanks GM!
I’m glad there were some favourite things, despite the not favourites.
If I’m honest, I suspect that Jacob and I are both used to playing in a party with more impulsive, go-getting characters considering we have both chosen high INT characters for ourselves. Unfortunately, that means when playing together we have a party of two characters who prefer a considered and cautious approach but also have differing styles and are used to playing in their own lanes. Not necessarily the best mix for effective game play.
Should I add that I can’t actually tell you about one of my favourite bits – because potential spoilers?
*Narrows my eyes suspiciously at the Evil GM*
Yay for XP!
Well I’m not very used to playing in a party at all 😛
I think that a lot of out-of-game issues got in the way of play over this last year, for all 3 of us.
I think I just assumed that a direct approach would be met with failure and was hesitant to try it. The solution ended up being somewhat obvious but it was intimidating.
