Lia makes the call, gives the code phrase, is told she will be transferred.  There is a somewhat lengthy wait, interrupted briefly by the transferring voice checking if they are still there and asking them to please continue holding, before Zayaire’s voice comes on the line.

“Mer Emerald?  This is Zayaire.”
