I can give you information, I can’t tell you what conclusions to draw from it.

The child seems to be alert, not obviously under the influence of drugs or alcohol, skinny but not malnourished, of average appearance – neither a pretty nor ugly kid.  There’s a copper tag on a wrist band and no other jewellery.  Clothing is basic quality and not new, but in good repair, it fits so doesn’t seem to be borrowed nor stolen (unless the child has an eye for size), devoid of decoration, possibly a Benevolence store allocation. 

If you’re asking for an Empathy check, I can say that Lia’s gut feel is that she’s not being scammed.
