Money Transfer

It is possible to transfer money through the Dominion Bank – Lia’s regular payments to her identity service are an example.  However, all such payments are inherently traceable.  Lia and her identity service get around this by the identity service being ostensibly a legitimate business and not arousing suspicion, but if the Legion (for example) ever did get suspicious they only have to go and ask the Bank for Lia’s transfer records.  Also for noting, in the Dominion the Legion don’t need a ‘warrant’ or equivalent probable cause to convince a judge (‘Inquisitor’ in the Dominion), the Dominion Bank’s records are open for Legion inspection at all times, no questions asked.

So given the above, one of the services that ‘transport specialists’ such as Lia often provide is not only moving valuable goods in one direction, but moving the payment in the other.

Such payments are usually cash (ie Dominion coins), unauthorised Money cards (Money cards that have been loaded with Money but not authorised to an individual), or payment in kind/barter (eg ‘you give us the stones, we give you the drugs’.)

Cinna and Winta

You tell me, is this before or after Winta has Cinna as a client?  If it’s before then that initial interaction probably becomes part of this module – depends what you want to play.

Commercial Void Space TH6

Lia approaches the bar, seemingly the main attraction in this vast, dark space.  Drops of condensation on a nearby metal sign vibrate to the beat.  Whether by chance or design the direction from which she is approaching is largely devoid of traffic, but elsewhere, people are heading toward or away from the neon-lit beacon of the bar.  Others are milling, loitering, talking, arguing, passed out, vomiting into a grate; a few are purchasing food or standing around the only other venue here – a small food cart about 50m away from the bar’s front entrance.  As she approaches, the people she can see do not look especially prosperous – this is not a Banded Mer’s wine bar in the Resi Section, these are working Mers, or on the Benevolence.

  1. Lia Silver-Rose says:

In that case I would say she has at least one (possibly two depending on how much money Cinna gave her) unauthorized cards concealed about her person.

In relation to Cinna, I was trying to ascertain where we were time-wise leading up to her meeting Raina for the first time. If this is before Cinna is Winta’s client, this is going to be a longer module since Cinna was listed as a regular client…
How much of their interaction do you want to play out given the explicit nature of their arrangement?

I assume Lia would have researched the type of bar this is before dressing for the evening. She will scan the people visible looking for a guy in a red jacket. If she doesn’t see him, she will head inside.
